We work with government officials, community groups, and other political organizations to advance reproductive rights and health. In our political work, we collaborate with other organizations to lobby for pro-choice legislation and policies as well as to elect pro-choice candidates. In our reproductive health equity efforts, we engage in collective initiatives to improve access to reproductive and sexual health information and services – including emergency contraception and family planning – to stand up for women’s health needs in state and national health care reform, and to promote health equity across the Commonwealth.
Agenda for Women’s Equality
The Agenda for Women’s Equality is a proactive platform to eliminate gender disparities in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Developed by an alliance of organizations and advocates with experience in the fields of labor, law, politics, healthcare, and human rights, among many others, the Agenda addresses the interrelation of sexual orientation, gender identity, age, race, income, ability, and immigrant status through the expertise of our coalition members. We call on state leaders and policymakers, advocacy groups, and communities to join forces to end gender disparities by signing our pledge.
